Wine Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti “Montalbano” DOCG, 2020

Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti – dry red wine that is produced from famous grape Sangiovese. His crop harvested in mid-October at the time of full maturity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under strictly controlled temperature. Then the wine is placed in a large French oak barrels Allier and maintained for 4 months. Thereafter, the wine bottled and kept for a further four months.

Tenuta Cantagallo (Tenuta Cantagallo) – winery, whose name translates as “the singing rooster”, it belongs to the family of Peratstsuolli since 1970. The winery is located in the picturesque town of Montalbano, known as the birthplace of the great Leonardo da Vinci. Even the local landscapes preserved in their outlines trends of the Renaissance. Today it is managed by Enrico Peratstsuolli, which accounts for the founder’s grandson. It conveys the passion for winemaking, honoring ancient traditions and love for their land – all eloquently expressed in his wines. Vineyards farms occupy about 3 hectares of land, much of which is given over to the local grape Sangiovese is also grown Cabernet Sauvignon. All work carried out on the principle – “a bottle of wine from the vine.”
