Setteanime, Incrocio Manzoni “6.0.13”, Piave DOC – elegant dry white wine made from the same grape variety that is grown in the company’s vineyards in Treviso. Incrochio Manzoni, who was born from crossing Pinot Bianco and Riesling Renano varieties, is one of the most recognized varieties obtained by Professor Luigi Manzoni from the Conegliano Wine School in the 1930s. This variety is characterized by limited yield and highly specific characteristics. The numbers “6.0.13” indicate the individual position of the clone in the vineyard. Manzoni 6.0.13 is characterized by early ripening, low productivity, small vines, a remarkable ability to adapt to a variety of climatic conditions and shows excellent results. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 20 meters above sea level. Soils are medium-textured with clay interlayers. The average yield is 120 centners per hectare. Harvested in the second half of September, when the berries reached the optimum level of maturity. The wine is produced in the traditional way for white wines with classical fermentation in steel tanks at a strictly controlled temperature of 14 C with the addition of natural yeast. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks on lees for at least 6 months and another 6 months in bottles.
