Scopeto del Cavalli, Brunello di Montalcino, 2016 is a true gem of the Scopeto del Cavalli winery, the smallest in Montalcino. Released in a limited edition of only 1,000 bottles, it is very rare and exquisite in taste. The grapes for this wine are grown using organic and biodynamic methods. The harvest is carefully hand-picked and transported to the winery, where it undergoes further sorting. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks, then the wine is aged for 36 months in French oak barriques and one year in bottles. Brunello di Montalcino has excellent storage potential – at least 15 years.
