Blauburgunder from the company of San Michele Appiano – dry red wine that is made from grapes Blauburgunder (Pinot Nero), grown on clay and sandy soils. This variety is considered one of the most valuable and complex red grapes. After collecting the berries are fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is poured into large oak casks, which is aged for 12 months. Wine storage potential is 4-5 years.
Winery San Michele-Appiano was founded in 1907 and eventually became one of the largest and most successful wine houses of South Tyrol, and then Italy.
