Wine Remhoogte, “Chronicle” Cape Blend, 2018

“Bonne Nouvelle” (“Good News”) – inimitable South African wine that famous wine expert Robert Parker described as “impressive” wine, “clearly demonstrates the nature of Bordeaux.” The author of the delightful “Bonne Nouvelle”, the first vintage of which was released in 2002, is a famous Michel Rolland. Berries for “Bonne Nouvelle” carefully selected and separated from the ridges. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats and small oak casks. Each variety vinified separately. Excerpt wine lasts 20 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which – new. Wine is produced in a limited volume.

Wine was created on the basis of the South African economy Remhoogte, co-owned by Rolland. Farm owned by magnificent vineyards, occupying 30 hectares, which are grown red grape varieties – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinotage. Harvest, limited to 5 tons per hectare, harvested by hand in the optimum degree of maturity and with excellent acidity. Name oenologist Michel Rolland special needs no introduction, it is well known to any connoisseur of fine wines. Owner delightful vineyards, not only at home in France but also in Spain, and South Africa Argintine, Rolland lot of time traveling around the world, for which he received the title of “flying winemaker”. His name has long been synonymous with aristocratic, fine wines of high quality that can be safely counted among the elite of world winemaking.
