“Pietranera”, 2023 is a refined red wine that is an excellent choice for a festive table or a meeting with friends. It is made from Sangiovese with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, grown on a plot in Santa Cristina a Mezzana.
The harvest is done manually, the grapes are sent for pressing, after which the resulting must is subjected to maceration on the skin, helping the future wine to obtain more aromatic and taste characteristics. Then fermentation is carried out on natural yeast. Fermentation takes 18-20 days. The wine matures for 10 months in small French oak barrels, followed by additional aging in bottles for 6 months.
