For the manufacture of fine wine “Punggl” used Pinot Grigio, assembled in a vineyard Punggl, located south of Margreid at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. On clay rich soils berries ripen, giving the wine a special structure density and taste – the incredible richness. Drink 10 months aged on its lees, and 70 per cent – in stainless steel tanks and 30% – in large oak casks. Thanks to this method of production of wine enriched taste nuances of noble wood that blend harmoniously with the fruity tones.
In 1985, two farms – Nalles (founded in 1932) and Magre-Niclara (founded in 1954) began to mutually beneficial cooperation, the purpose of which was to unite the best wine producers of the appellation Alto Adige, located in South Tyrol.
