“Secateurs” Red Blend, 2018 – the eighth vintage blended red wine, always adhering to a soft style and charming freshness. A large number of Senso grapes in the blend provides the wine with an excellent shelf life and sufficient flexibility in youth. Grapes for making red wine “Secateurs” comes both from their own vineyards, and from the vineyards of a neighboring farm. Vines are grown mainly on mountain slopes. High-quality fruits are harvested from old irrigated vines, most of which were planted on a variety of granite soils from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. They give a very low yield. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, then the wine is aged 7 months in old barrels and concrete tanks, which have little effect on the natural aroma of wine and its structure, ensuring the purity of the fruit.
