Wine “Mr. Cup” Red, Valencia DO

The distinctive blend of “Big Oak” Red combines intense black currant notes Cabernet Sauvignon and juicy colors mulberry and spices inherent class Shiraz. Beautiful, smooth and juicy wine – the perfect accompaniment noisy party, or lonely evenings by the fireplace, decoration everyday or holiday table. Wine is a line of “Tree Series”, a concept which appeared due to remarkable trees growing in the garden estates Bellingham. Magnificent “Big Oak” (yes, that’s right – with capital letters, rare trees have their own name), growing on the estate Bellingham – a central place in his favorite garden spouse Bernard and Fred Podlashuk. In the shade of this tree were hand-bottled wine first, going on family holidays Podlashuk and their friends.

2012 is characterized by a long season of ripening berries, sunny and dry weather. Grapes for wine production “Big Oak” is grown in coastal regions. Land – low yielding that produces berries with a high concentration of aromatic, flavoring and coloring agents. Both grapes are hand-picked in the later days of March. Each variety is fermented separately, with the skins in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the previously used French oak barrels. Then the wine is aged in the same barrels for 9 months. Wine storage capacity is 3 years.

Manor Bellingham (from the African “Bellinchamp” – “charming Field”) located in the valley of Franschhoek, in the foothills of the Groot Drakenstein. Founded in 1693 by the Dutchman Gerrit Janse van Vuuren, the estate has always been known for its intriguing wines with unique characteristics.
