Moletto, Malbech – an unusual wine from the typical Mottense (Treviso) Malbec grape variety. The vines are cultivated at an altitude of 9 meters above sea level on an alluvial clay-calcareous soil of sedimentary origin. The plots have east and west exposure. The average age of the vines is 30 years. Vinification, which includes maceration at a controlled temperature of 26-30 C for about 15 days and fermentation, takes place in steel tanks. Then the wine is transferred to other steel containers for subsequent malolactic fermentation and aging for 18 months. Malbec goes well with cold cuts and hot meat dishes.
