Wine Mezzacorona, “Terre del Noce” Pinot Grigio, Dolomiti IGT, 2020, 1.5 L

Wine “Terre del Noce” is made from Pinot Grigio grown at the foot of the Italian Dolomites to the north of Lake Garda. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. The special microclimate perfect for wine with a characteristic taste and aromatic qualities. Grapes are harvested by hand and aged in stainless steel tanks at temrerature 18-20 C. Wine does not pass the malolactic fermentation and aging in oak barrels and bottled immediately to preserve the taste of fresh fruit.

Medzakorona Winery, founded in 1904, is one of the first producers’ associations in Italy. This winery has a total of 2,400 hectares of vineyards in Trentino-Alto Adige. All wines are made exclusively from grapes of their own crops. Different climate zones (Mediterranean, continental and mountain climate) allowed different grape varieties to find their ideal habitat to express the best organoleptic characteristics. The winery is equipped with the most modern equipment available today. The winery is an excellent example of good practice. Wine production takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. During the entire process is constantly looking team of oenologists, who controlled fermentation, pumping and aging wine. Steel tanks, casks, barrels, bottling equipment, an extremely complex process in the production of wine is a symbol of excellence in winemaking. In 2009, the winery was named “European Winery of the Year.”
