Wine Madonna Nera, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 2018

Luxury wine Madonna Nera, Brunello di Montalcino is made from Sangiovese grapes, carefully grown in the magnificent vineyards in Montalcino. The soil consists mainly of river pebbles and limestone. A special feature of the terroir is a dry, sunny climate, lack of fog, exceptional air transparency and bright sun. Harvesting is carried out manually at the time of optimal ripeness of the grapes, only the best and healthy berries are selected. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature not higher than 28 C. Maceration in contact with the peel lasts 25 days. The growing activity of natural yeast leads to the onset of malolactic fermentation, which is replaced by aging in French oak barrels (first and second year of use) for 30 months. Before bottling the wine is carefully filtered.
Vintage 2013 will reach the peak of its perfection in the period from 2020 to 2030.
