Wine “Collezione De Marchi” Cabernet Sauvignon an outstanding representative of the signature line of Paolo de Marchi wines, reflecting the potential of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety in the Tuscan terroir.

The 2020 harvest was hand-picked from the high-altitude plots of the Barberino winery, where the vines are between 20 and 40 years old. The vinification is carried out with the utmost attention to detail: classic fermentation with maceration lasts about 4 weeks, with regular pumping of the must and delestage, allowing the extraction of depth of colour and softness of tannins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 24 months in specially selected French and American barriques. It then matures in the bottle for at least two years in the estates underground cellars.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon displays exceptional balance, complexity and elegance. It is a wine with a strong personality and excellent potential for development in the bottle.
