Full-bodied, very expressive, dry red wine “Oratorio di San Lorenzo” Carmenere Riserva produced only during the best harvests. The name of the wine is named after the Chapel of St. Lorenzo, which is located around the vineyard, planted variety Carmenere. This chapel is shown on the label in the manner of a pencil drawing, which has already become traditional wine Inama. 7-hectare vineyard is located in the region of the Colli Berici at an altitude of 50-100 meters above sea level and has a southern exposure. Carmenere grape vines planted on marl soils and have a very low yield – only 25 hl / ha. In 2011, maceration and fermentation of wort made in vertical vats for 14 days. Malolactic fermentation proceeded in barrels. For maturing wine, which lasted for 18 months, used French barriques (50% new). After a light filtration wine bottled and then another 12 months kept in the cellar of the winery. The founder of the winery Inama is Giuseppe Inam, who in the 1950’s started to get on their savings vineyards in the Soave Classico wine zone. Giuseppe was convinced of the potential of Soave and wanted to show the world what a Garganega grapes. His goal was to collect only high-quality vineyards with old vines Garganega and create a wine that would be able to raise the reputation of Soave. In addition Garganega Giuseppe also began to grow Sauvignon Blanc, as local soil strikingly express themselves in this unique varieties. Today farming Inam owns 25 hectares of vineyards in the Soave, from which are produced as Soave wines and Sauvignon Blanc. In the 1990s Giuseppe Inam began producing red wines of the region Colli Berici. Mineral-rich soil, hot and dry climate create ideal conditions for ripening grapes such as Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
