Soave – one of the most famous and popular Italian white wines. It takes its name from the town of Soave. It was here, in the two estates Kostedzhiola and Casale, one of the best areas of Classico zone, before the historic castle vineyards of Gereri Ritstsardi. In these hilly areas with beautiful southern exposure and volcanic soils Ritstsardi grown varieties Garganega, Chardonnay and Trebbiano di Soave. Planting density ranges from 2,500 to 4,500 vines per hectare. Grapes this area differs great elegance, freshness and consistent quality. For the production of “Soave” harvested grapes cleaned from stems are pressed, and then – fermentation. Extract of wine on the lees in stainless steel tanks and ceramic vats lasts from 3 to 6 months.

Winery Gereri Ritstsardi occurred in the Veneto region as a result of the union of two ancient and powerful Veronese wine producers: Gereri graphs, owners of the centuries-old manor in Bardolino vineyards and cellars, and graphs Ritstsardi who bought their vineyards in Negrar in 1678, built shortly thereafter cellar Poyega. Gereri family also owned a small farm in Dolce Valdadidzhe and place in Soave, vineyards and cellar in Kostedzhole in the heart of the classic that was purchased in 1970. Today, the company belongs to the family Gereri Ritstsardi Ritstsardi. It remains a family business and owns vineyards in four areas for the production of Verona Classico wines Bardolino, Valpolicella, Soave and Valdadidzhe. Office of the company is based in Gereri Ritstsardi Bardolino in a historic building, owned by the family since 1450 Gereri. All grapes are from our own vineyards, cultivated organically and in each of the appellations has a cellar for vinification.
