“Domini del Leone” Valpolicella Ripasso DOC – elegant dry red wine, which is a classic blend of Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Due to its advantageous geographical location to the east of Lake Garda and favorable geoclimatic conditions, each variety reveals its potential to the maximum. The vines grow on limestone and marl-rich soil, at an altitude of 220-300 meters above sea level. The wine is produced using the “ripasso” technology, in which the must undergoes a secondary fermentation in oak barrels using pomace from the grape skins left after making Amarone wine. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
