Wine Domaine Michel Gros, Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Nuits, 2018

Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits by Domaine Michel Gros – it is a beautiful and delicious red wine from Burgundy, which is made from Pinot Noir. Crop is harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of about 32 C. Pumping the wort is carried out twice a day – morning and evening. Wine is aged in oak barrels. Claude Arnoux – author of a book about the wines of Burgundy – wrote: “This wine is full of fire and light, like a heavenly spirit.”

Michel Gros – winemaker in the sixth generation, which continues and develops the work undertaken by his ancestors. He owns more than 18 hectares of vineyards in Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romane, including portions of Premier Cru. Gros Michel is always concerned about the development of their offspring. He controls all stages of production – from planting grapes to bottling the wine in the bottle.

Michel Gros modest and unassuming man. It creates a generous, subtle, elegant and high-quality wines. In recognition of his work, Michel was awarded numerous medals and awards, and voted “Best producer of red wines”, and its wines are marked with the award “Best Pinot Noir”.
