Wine “Cruzeiro” Branco, Vinho Verde DOC, 2022

The Norte brand was created in honor of the northern region of Portugal, the cradle of a country known for its hospitality and romantic landscapes. It is here that the Vinho Verde region is located, which gives light and fruity wines under the Norte brand.

“Norte” Rose – fresh semi-dry pink wine from Guilherme Pereira (oenologist) from Borracal and Padeiro grapes, which is grown in the Vinho Verde region on shale-clay soils. The region’s proximity to the Atlantic Ocean makes it a highly productive terroir. Sea breezes often bring rainfall with them, allowing yields to rise much higher than in the drier regions of Portugal. The grapes harvested at the time of optimum ripeness are carefully graded and separated. Brief maceration on the skin allows you to get a beautiful pink color and a pleasant berry aroma. Then the juice is separated from the mash by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15-17 C in stainless steel containers and is forced to stop when the optimal level of residual sugar is reached. The wine is filtered before bottling.
