Corte Giara, Bardolino DOC, 2013 – this wine with fruity bouquet and fresh, juicy taste. Wine is produced on the eastern shores of Lake Garda, in the north-east of Italy. High category was awarded DOC Bardolino region in 1968. The main grape varieties are grown in loose, well-drained soils are Corvina and Rondinella. Corwin is responsible for the structure of the wine, fills it with velvety tannins and a juicy cherry notes. Rondinella, in turn, is decorated with a blend characteristic freshness, intensity and harmony. The average age of the vines is 22 years. In Bardolino prevails fresh, cool climate, which generates air flow from Lake Garda and through which perfectly soften sharp fluctuations in day and night temperatures. Lake also reflects the bright sunlight back toward the elevated vineyards, clusters of helping to achieve full ripeness during the growing season. The combination of the temperature difference and the bright sun contributes to the development of juicy, fresh, fruit characteristics Bardolino wines.
Harvest to create Bardolino harvested in late September or early October manually and berries from the stems separated and subjected to soft pressing grapes. Fermentation is carried out for 8-10 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Wine maintained for 3-4 months in stainless steel vats, then bottled.
