Wine Casa di Terra, “Moreccio”, Bolgheri DOC, 2022

“Moreccio” is a rich red wine produced in the Bolgheri region, which is famous for its outstanding wines. This wine is an exceptional creation of master winemakers and carries with it the richness of Italian wine culture. The Bolgheri region is known for its mild Mediterranean climate and ideal soils for growing grapes. “Moreccio” is made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grape varieties. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in special stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 26-28C for 20 days using natural yeast that is present on the grape skins. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barriques for at least six months, and the wine matures in bottles for another 6 months after bottling.
