“Merendeiro” Branco – white semi-dry wine from the grapes of Portuguese varieties Arinto and Lourreiro. Lowreiro grows mainly in the north of the country. Its name translates as “laurel”, which emphasizes its subtle flavor. Lowreiro brings good acidity to wine, he also significantly reduces the alcohol content. Grapes of Arinto variety prefer hot regions, it is appreciated for citrus tones in taste and aroma. Merendeiro wine demonstrates the main qualities of Lowreiro and Arinto, offering a low alcohol content, a well-balanced acidity and a delicate aroma.
