Wine Casa Da Fonte Pequena, “Hiromant” Rosado, Vinho Verde DOC

“3 Amigos” Branco – light white semi-dry wine from the best traditional white grape varieties, which is grown in the Vinho Verde region on shale-clay soils. The region’s proximity to the Atlantic Ocean makes it a highly productive terroir. Sea breezes often bring rainfall with them, allowing yields to rise much higher than in the drier regions of Portugal. The grapes harvested at the moment of optimum maturity are peeled from the stems and gently pressed with a pneumatic press. The resulting wort is fermented at a controlled temperature of 16 C in stainless steel vats for 16 days. Young wine has a fresh and balanced taste, it goes well with seafood and fish dishes, pasta and salads.
