Wine Cantina Vita, “Altissimo” Chianti DOCG, 2021

“Altissimo” Chianti Classico DOCG – juicy, velvety, refined red dry wine made from Sangiovese grapes. Bonacchi vineyards are located on the hillsides of the historic Chianti Classico area. After harvesting and careful crushing, the grapes are in contact with the skin for seven days at a cool temperature, which allows enriching the grape juice with a wealth of aromas and give structure to the future wine. Upon completion of the maceration process, fermentation begins, proceeding for about 9 days. All vinification processes take place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in oak barrels throughout the year, getting a denser structure and rich bouquet.
