Wine Bosman, “Fides” Grenache Blanc, 2018

Old Bush Vines Chenin Blanc, 2008 – excellent dry white wine made from grapes of Chenin Blanc, which is grown on old vines, planted in 1952.
After harvesting the berries are fermented, then the wine is aged for 9 months in small containers. “Old Bush Wines Chenin Blanc” in 2008 recommended to drink in the period from 2009 to 2013.

Bosman Family engaged in viticulture in the region since 1798, is the largest producer of grapes in South Africa, in his kennel “Lelienfontein Vinegrowers” they cultivate vines more than 7 million annually. The last 50 years, the family Bosman engaged only cultivation of grapes, but in 2004 again returned to commercial wineries. Changes associated with the arrival of the family business to the management of the new owner, a representative of the eighth generation of the family – Petrus Bosman-trained winemaking in the cellars of Sonoma in the US.
In 2004 Petrus got the first harvest from which was made his first wine, signifying, according to Petrus “proud return to our wine-making past. This wine reflects the true traditions and modern experience, is the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the history of our family.”

Petrus Bosman paired with the talented winemaker Korleey Fourier creates a wine of excellent quality. Wine estates are made on the principle of “from the vineyard – the wine.” Distinctive features of wines made from selected grapes are wealth, elegance and complexity combined with excellent fruit aromas.
