Wine Bolla, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC, 2016

Amarone della Valpolocella Classico – a unique wine made from grapes grown in the top of the Valpolicella Classico. For the production of wine grapes are carefully selected and subjected to a drying weight loss of 30-35% to achieve a high concentration of sugar. After drying, which lasts until February, grapes pressed and held cold maceration on the skins for 20 days. The temperature of fermentation and maceration is carefully controlled to maintain a fine fruity aroma of wine and give warmth and velvety tannins. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and 4 months in bottle.

Amarone wine is produced every year and has a particularly rich aroma, concentrated flavor and silky texture. Bolla was the first winery, which produced wine Amarone with the word on the label.

A small winery Bolla founded in Veneto in 1883, Abele Bolla. The first recognition came to the farm in 1909, when his wines were awarded a gold medal at the competition in Bologna.
