Wine Barbanera, Chianti DOCG Riserva, 2017

Barbanera Since 1938 – Barbaner’s special line of wines. According to the manufacturer, this is a festive element compared to the tradition of many generations that accompanies our activities. The line is a peculiar voice of history, demonstrating the constant and long evolution, the progression of the style, quality and philosophy of the company. Wines line express success and offer to celebrate it with the winery.
All the bottles of the line depict the heraldic coat of arms, which was adopted as a stronghold of the brand. It covers all the fundamental values associated with the work of the winery. The helmet, crowning the coat of arms, is designed to embody the nobility of products enclosed in bottles; the numerous hills at the base of the emblem symbolize hardness, stability and wisdom; in them the cypress roots in the central part of the coat of arms. Two stylized lilies around a cypress mean power and sovereignty. The components around the emblem represent the integrity and eternal life of the Barbaner family.

Barbanera Sins 1938, Chianti Riserva – dry red wine, traditionally made from grapes of Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo grapes. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, the age of the vines exceeds 20 years. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels, and then another 18 months in stainless steel tanks. After bottling, Chianti matures in cellars for at least 3 months.
Barbanera Since 1938, Chianti Riserva six times won gold medals at the “Berliner Wein Trophy” (in 2009, 2011, 2013-2015, 2017), and also hit the 2016 Best Italian Wines Yearbook.
