Wine Azienda Agricola Ottella, “Le Creete”, Lugana DOC, 2023, 1.5 L

Dry white wine “Le Creete” is produced from grapes Trebbiano di Lugana. The grapes are harvested only in their own vineyards in the small boxes of 17 kg. Yields are quite late. Maceration process is quick. Fermentation takes place in tanks made of steel and wooden barrels under strictly controlled temperature.

According to legend, the name of the winery appeared in the XVI century, as evidenced by the coat of arms, which is preserved in the courtyard of the estate. “In the XVI century winery was known as the only manufacturer of Verona” – an extract from “La provincia di verona ed I suoi vini” (“Province of Verona and wine “), G. Azienda Agricola Ottella is in the region of Lugano in Peschiera del Garda, on the southern shore of Lake Garda. Winery owners – brothers Ludovico and Francesco Montresor, as well as their father Michel – successfully combine fidelity to local winemaking traditions with modern technologies. Vineyards, mainly from Trebbiano variety, grown on clay-limestone soils of the coast, in a mild climate that promotes excellent ripening.
