“Ambasciata del Buon Vino” Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG – semi-dry red wine made from three grapes – Corvin, Rondinella and Molinar. The vineyards are located in the commune of Pescantina in the prestigious area of Amarone della Valpolicella of the Veneto region. The average age of the vines is 25 years. Vineyard soils are mostly calcareous. Harvested in the second half of October. According to the traditional appassimento method, the clusters are dried for four months in specially equipped, ventilated rooms. Maceration and fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel tanks, partly in oak barrels. The minimum aging period of wine in large oak barrels is two years.
The mission of Ambasciata del Buon Vino is to advance the thousand-year history of one of Italy’s most prestigious wine-growing regions. This is a combination of three historical red grape varieties grown in Valpolicella, whose wine traditions date back to Roman times.
